Physical Endurance Test (PET)
For Male Candidates:
- 100 metre race in 16 seconds
- 1.6 Kms race in 6.5 minutes
- Long Jump: 3.65 metre in 3 chances
- High Jump: 1.2 metre in 3 chances
- Shot put (16 Lbs): 4.5 metre in 3 chances
For Female Candidates:
- 100 metre race in 18 seconds
- 800 metre race in 4 minutes
- Long Jump: 2.7 metre in 3 chances
- High Jump: 0.9 metre in 3 chances
- No minimum chest requirement
Those candidates not qualified in Physical Standards may appeal to the appellate authority on the PST/PET ground. The decision will be final. PST/PET is qualifying in nature.
Ex-Servicemen are exempt from PET but must meet physical and medical standards and pass the written tests.
Medical Standards
- All candidates qualifying in Paper-II will be medically examined by a Medical Officer of CAPFs or any Grade-I Govt. Hospital/Dispensary.
- Review Medical Examination (RME) will be conducted for those found unfit in Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
- Minimum eyesight: Near vision N6 (better eye), N9 (worse eye); Distant vision 6/6 (better eye), 6/9 (worse eye) without correction.
- No knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein, squint; must have high colour vision.
- Good mental and bodily health, free from defects affecting duty performance.

Essential Educational Qualification (as on 01.08.2025)
Educational Qualification for all posts is Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent. Candidates who have appeared in their Bachelor’s degree or equivalent examination can also apply; however, they must possess the Essential Qualification on or before the cutoff date, i.e., 01.08.2025.
Candidates who have not yet acquired the educational qualification but will acquire it and produce documentary evidence from the Board/University in support thereof, as on 01.08.2025, will also be eligible.

SSC CPO 2025 is the Staff Selection Commission exam for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in CAPFs, Delhi Police, and Assistant Sub-Inspectors (ASI) in CISF.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university and meet age criteria (usually 20-25 years for SI in CAPFs/Delhi Police, 18-25 for ASI in CISF).
General category: 20–25 years for SI in CAPFs/Delhi Police. Age relaxations are applicable for OBC, SC, ST, and other reserved categories as per government rules.
The application is online via the official SSC website (ssc.nic.in). Candidates must fill the form, upload documents, and pay the application fee.
Offline students can request digital copies if needed, but physical books are provided in-class.
Selection is based on the candidate’s performance in Paper-I, PET/PST, Paper-II, and medical fitness. Final merit is prepared category-wise.
General/OBC: ₹100, SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Female candidates: No fee. Fee is payable online.
The starting basic pay for SI in CAPFs/Delhi Police is Level 6 (₹35,400) plus allowances as per government norms.
